Its design is already an incentive for players looking for a well-designed game, much more when you start unlocking the larger and more advanced units. While the graphics easily go toe-to-toe with the best in the subgenre, the audio is a different story. There are virtually no voiceovers and the overall sound work is all over the place.
Aside from the technical aspects detailed above, the game doesn’t depart from its contemporaries. The game’s lack of a compelling storyline makes it difficult to last through the late-game stages. The base-building and the combat start to become repetitive, with the upgrades taking longer with each iteration.
